Turkish Tea Time – With this podcast you have the opportunity to  learn Turkish language, its grammar, and how it’s spoken in everyday life. Each lesson revolves around a dialog that focuses on a single language point.  The difficulty level of each lesson is between four levels, from absolute beginner to advanced.

Learn Modern Turkish – You can learn the essentials of the modern Turkish language and culture with this podcast. You will find the language basics, literal translations, history behind expressions, basic grammar rules and some etymology.

Top Podcasts to Learn English on the go!

If you are a busy person, you can take the advantage of using podcasts to learn or improve your English on the go. There are so many podcasts dedicated to teaching English in different levels. Here I’ve gathered some of the top podcasts available both for iOS and Android that you can use while traveling, eating, walking and, etc. Have fun and enjoy learning English on your mobile handsets! You can keep the track of what you or your students listened with this worksheet I created: Podcast Hunter 

To be able to listen to podcasts on iOS devices you should download Podcasts App and you can download Podcast Addict or another app for Android devices. Some of the podcast providers have their own app. And also you can listen to the podcasts on a PC or Mac by downloading the iTunes software


1. British Council – Learn English PodcastsIt is a podcast app that helps you learn everyday English by providing 40 episodes and over 20 hours of free listening about a wide range of topics, as well as great new features that help you listen and understand the conversations.

2. British Council – Learn English (Elementary) – You can practise your English language listening skills with Elementary Podcasts and listen to them on your computer, or download them to your mp3 player or smartphone.
